Bassett Road - Remuera, Auckland
When approaching a new project, it is important to not only execute what the clients envision but to create a home that they will love and enjoy for many years to come. This property in Remuera was a prime example of this - an extensive renovation to complement the home's original features whilst still upsizing the space.
Working with both our Earth moving and Construction teams, we began this project with a dig-out at the rear of the property, this involved propping the house and demolishing a 3 storey chimney. This then developed into a basement with a bathroom, wine cellar and movie room/home gym. Whilst this work was being carried out the rest of the property was fully gutted and we mindfully preserved and restored a few very special heritage features and ceilings.
The entire property was modified as the team even extended the existing garage to allow for more parking and storage. The outdated pool and patio was next on list as we completed a full refurbishment of the existing pool and also dug in a new concrete spa. The patio area was transformed with new tiling and loggia area, complete with a beautiful Escea fireplace, skylights and glass wind screens to really revolutionise this outdoor area into an all weather entertaining space.
Once the basement structure was in place, we were able to continue with the extension of the two floors above to create an elevated laundry, scullery and bedroom. Tying all this together with five new fully tiled bathrooms, a full repaint of the interior and exterior and a brand new kitchen with hardwood floors throughout, complimented by two stunning solid oak curved doors adjacent in the hallway to complete this grand project.

Entrican Avenue - Remuera, Auckland
We took on this project with the intention to really elevate and transform the exterior for a family-friendly, entertainers dream. This project showcased our ability to work seamlessly with our earthworks team on a slightly more technical scope to achieve a grand result. To get this project underway our team had to demolish an old garage, deck, retaining wall and concrete pool to make way for the new extension. Our excavation team then had to form footings, drill piles for the retaining and reshape ground heights to achieve the final form for landscaping and Basalt rock work.
Whilst working through this, the carpenters tackled the tasks of getting the new double garage slab and foundation poured, using structural steel which was craned into place to support a concrete tray deck roof. This new garage then allowed the team to build up, forming the new deck and loggia structure and new roof with Louvres to finish. The new concrete pool, patios and landscaped areas completed the beautiful exterior of this property in Remuera.
